Institution protocols and formulary

Add your hospital's formulary and dosing protocols, and ClinDose shows them next to the FDA label on drug pages, in the drug library, and in the medication check.

How it works

  1. Build the pack once. Pharmacy enters formulary status, preferred alternatives, and renal dosing protocols here, or imports a JSON file or formulary CSV exported from your formulary system.
  2. Share the link. The whole pack is compressed into the link after the # sign. Browsers don't send that part to any server, so your content never reaches ClinDose. Post the link on your intranet or send it to staff.
  3. Each device keeps its copy. Opening the link shows a preview; nothing changes until the person taps Use this pack. To publish an update, share a new link.
  4. Clinicians see it in context. Drug pages show your status, alternatives, and protocol next to the FDA label, with the row for the current patient's CrCl highlighted. The medication check flags nonformulary and restricted drugs.

ClinDose doesn't review institution content. Your pharmacy and therapeutics committee owns it.

JSON format

Drugs can be a library slug (as in the drug page address) or a drug name. Status is preferred, formulary, restricted, or nonformulary. A CrCl row with "hi": null means "and above". Links must use https.
