Formats it reads

  • 10-digit NDCs with hyphens: 4-4-2, 5-3-2, or 5-4-1.
  • 11-digit NDCs (5-4-2, the billing format), with or without hyphens.
  • 10 digits without hyphens: all three layouts are tried, and every listed match is shown.
  • Product NDCs without the package code, such as 0002-7715.
  • The digits under a UPC or GS1 barcode, or the text a scanner returns from a DataMatrix code.
